Provisional Bookings:
Payments for clubs must be made before your child(ren) first session. As places are limited, If you make a provisional booking but do not make payment, your place cannot be guaranteed and we reserve the right to offer your place to another child(ren).
Cancellations:
Prepaid bookings that are cancelled more than 7 days prior to a child's first day of attendance of a given club or camp are eligible for a full refund, minus a booking and administration fee of £10.
Prepaid bookings that are cancelled before the first session and with less than 7 days notice are not eligible for a refund as this would not provide sufficient time to reallocate the space. Credit may be offered at the discretion of Hall Star Education Ltd.
For the same reason, bookings cancelled mid-way through the term will not be eligible for a refund nor credit.
Hall Star Education Ltd reserves the right to cancel sessions in advance due to low registration numbers, adverse weather conditions or any other unforeseen circumstances. If this does occur we will offer alternative arrangements that might include an alternative activity, date or venue. Should these alternative arrangements not be possible a full refund will be given.
Sessions which are unable to take place due to circumstances out of Hall Star Education Ltd’s control, including but not limited to, temporary closure of schools or facilities, industrial strike action etc are not eligible for refund.
Late Collection:
You must ensure that you collect your child(ren) promptly at their predetermined collection time. If you do not collect your child(ren) promptly then Hall Star Education Ltd reserves the right to charge an additional £5 for every 10 minutes as a Late Collection Fee to cover any additional staffing costs. The Late Collection Fee will be debited to your account and is payable immediately. Please note if you do not pay the Late Collection Fee as required then Hall Star Education Ltd reserves the right to cancel any future bookings.
Missed Sessions:
Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds or credit notes for sessions missed.
In the event that a child(ren) is unable to participate in a given club for 2 or more consecutive session as a result of illness or injury, please contact us on info@hallstareducation.co.uk and credit may be offered at the discretion of Hall Star Education Ltd.
Behaviour Policy:
Please note: children are expected to behave in a manner in which their actions do not damage property or cause harm to themselves or others. We prioritise your child’s safety and wellbeing and follow a zero tolerance approach to bullying. In the event your child’s behaviour does not meet these expectations, we reserve the right to refuse participation in future sessions, or to request a child be collected without refund.
Community Sports Sessions:
Community sports sessions are those which take place outside of school hours in facilities which may also be used by the public. This could include but is not limited to: leisure centres, school sports halls and community halls. In booking your child onto these types of sports session, I accept that my child may be unsupervised when using facilities outside of the designated space in which the sport takes place e.g. toilets, corridors etc and that these facilities may also be used by other members of the public. Parents should also be aware that facilities like this may not be secure and access outside the building may be possible. Hall Star Education Ltd do not accept responsibility for children outside of the designated space and times in which the session takes place and parents should therefore remain on site if they are concerned about their child using public facilities during these times.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions:
I have read the information provided and accept that participation involves certain risks, including physical injury. I take responsibility for sending my child(ren) to the session fit to participate, in suitable clothing/ sports kit and where required, with any medication which may required.
I understand that where the club I have signed my child up for is before or after the school day, the school provides the venue and there will not be a member of school staff in the session. the responsibility for the delivery of the session lies with Hall Star Education Ltd.
I accept that it is my responsibility to inform Hall Star Education Ltd of any changes to this information including details on collection, emergency contact details, medical information etc.
You will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to these terms at the time you make a booking. The application of these terms will commence on the date of your booking.
